Bessa Myftiu is Albanian, writer, and literature lover. She reads for us her most beautiful texts, dedicated to love, solitude or beauty. In her novels, she narrates her homeland. Even if her texts are in French, the heart of everything she writes beats in Albanian. The topics she chooses find themselves in the core of stories, born in emigration: the life of ordinary people baring heroism, the worship of beauty, or the curses of love.
Her words come to dialogue with the notes and the voice of the wonderful musician Elina Duni, who sings the Balkans and gives wings to the poetry of the heart that she combines with jazz touches.
In this blend of texts and songs, they interwind together an ode to Albania and to life.
